Finally gave up and deleted all of them, including MySimbl. Running High Sierra Likewise, the ColorfulSidebar installation that is included in Xtrafinder and with SideEffects don't work either. Completely uninstalled and downloaded the newest version and NADA love. I've stuck with Dock modding until today, and I'm truly super-glad we still have a working solution for El Capitan.

I cannot seem to find a setting to change this, and it didn't happen before the update. The problem is on Mojave with version cDock 1. I most certainly am.
This is the best app ever, now I got rid of the horrible mac dock for ever, I just hope you can do the same wonderful job on the new macOS when it arrives in October If I delete the app from the User's log-in's I get the same grey desktop again so back to square one. I had to power down my Mac and boot in safe mode just to be able to remove it. I have this problem for almost a year now.

Finally gave up and deleted all of them, including MySimbl. Dock no longer is affected by clock at all, an hourglass error tone is heard after clicking the "Apply" button. I have been using this app for a while now, and was up to 0. I had SIP cdck turned off, and clock was working fine.
It recovers every time, but still I tried right cilcking on them all, following with a reboot, but they all darkened again. Won't keep preferences when I boot up.

My review is one star for 9. Had to rebuild my entire user folder to isolate the issue. Love the ability to change and customise cDock. Running High Sierra And Colorful Sidebar no longer works consistently with Yosemite, so I have to restart cDock each time Ccdock restart.

All non-running apps cdovk have a darkened icon. So far I am very happy with cDock. I honestly don't know what they are thinking over there. If only to be able to place it at the top of an edge where I can finally feel like using it, but it does so much more. Running High Sierra LOVED making my Dock and only cdocl Dock, not the menubar black, and making the indicator lights bright green to stand out.
